Univeristy of Tennessee- KnoxvilleThe New Latino Immigration to TennesseeThis conference held at the University of Tennesse- Knoxville focuses on the opportunities and challenges posed by the arrival of newcomers from Latin America. Look at the "Continuing Education Opportunities" page for training topic ideas. This conference is unique in the fact that it provides specific courses for people depending on their profession.
Refugee CouncilThis London-based organization provides training courses to
service providers,
refugees, and
refugee community organizations.
In addition to these programs Refugee Council also holds

National Network for Immigrant and Refugee Rights- BRIDGE (Building a Race and Immigration Dialogue in the Global Economy) ProjectThis fall, NNIRR's
BRIDGE Project will train over 85 immigrant and refugee community organizers, educators and activists at the annual Immigrant and Refugee Rights Training Institute. The Training Institute gives emerging leaders in the immigrant and refugee rights movement the opportunity to develop their popular education skills; participate in "train the trainers" workshops based on the BRIDGE curriculum; to gain organizational capacity skills; and to network with immigrant and refugee rights organizers from around the country!
